Hi! It’s us - glad you could join us!

For those of you who don’t know, Connor and Chloe met towards the end of 2016, and started dating on the 21st January 2017.

We travelled miles to see each other in the beginning of our relationship, Connor being at Lancaster University, and Chloe being at Lincoln University created an unavoidable distance of 149 miles. This set the tone for the relationship, as roughly about 2.5 years of our 7.5 year relationship has been long distance. That taught us some real lessons in determination and truly grew our bond further.

This all came to an end when we got our first flat together in Lincoln in April 2021. This was where it was determined that Connor would be the cook in the relationship, as Chloe can burn air.

After a year we then moved into our current home, which has been the keeper of so many fond memories; from new jobs, to hosting friends, but more specifically and more importantly our engagement. Many of you won’t know how he popped the question!

On the 4th November 2023, Connor suggested putting the Christmas decorations up. Chloe didn’t say no, as it’s her favourite time of the year and it’s never too early for some festivities. As is tradition in the Hines-Brunsden household, Chloe goes to put the star on top of the tree, and Connor stops her to take some pictures. As she turns around, Connor is on one knee with a ring box in hand, asking her to marry him. Chloe immediately starts sobbing, because why would she not? Truly the most magical memories have been made in our very own living room.

In our spare time, we like to veg out in front of the TV, play board games, and read together. Chloe’s favourite pastime is trying to convince Connor to go on holiday within a 4 week timeframe, with no funds to pay for this or annual leave remaining. Connor’s favourite pastime is informing Chloe that that is a terrible idea.

We love each other very much, and we cannot wait to spend our day with you!
